I don't know how you travel so much. I would feel awful about being away from my kids so much. My husband stays home with them, but they still beg me to not go to work and stay home and play with them. I give very similar explanations.

Don't feel guilty, you're a fabulous mommy! And, go with your Husband and have a great time. Showing your children a strong, loving marriage is wonderful for their development.

Oh, and, those Hannah Montana boots cost a grip, don't they?!

Winks & Smiles,
Wifey

My daughter realized the other day that a child in her kindergarten class, has a mom who works at the school. She talked about how lucky he is and wants to know why I can't do that too. Because Hannah Montana boots are expensive and we don't pay teachers what they're worth!

Oooo, that's so sweet, cutting out paper frogs.

My children could careless if I'm there as well, but let me leave for a day. You'd think I was gone a week!

I've done both -- working and staying home -- and there's nothing like leaving your kids when you just want to stay. Even one extra day per week would make life more human. Hang in there, mama -- and don't feel guilty about being away with your husband! The best gift you can give to your kids is a strong marriage. :o)
-- Nancy

I know the feeling. It came to a head when my son was about 5 years old and he drew a picture of the family. It was him, his sister and daddy. When I asked where I was, he said "You were at work". Talk about guilt!!! But now that he is older he understands why I have to do what I do. But you best believe I wish I could be with them a little more.

Oh the guilt! I'm blessed enough so that I work at my children's school, but I'm still too stress to play with them when we all get home. Lately I've been thinking back to the time when I was a stay at home mom....Oh the memories...
