Evening with Marcus Samuelsson

Last Thursday Fergie and I had the pleasure of attending a cooking demonstration with celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson courtesy of Macys Culinary Council.  We had a wonderful evening chatting with other bloggers and watching an expert at his craft while sampling food that I probably would never be able to afford. We both each got a copy of his cookbook “The New American Table” and I must admit that the 5 pds worth of knowledge contained in this cookbook is enough to make me want to try cooking. I will begin my quest this weekend, just in time for Mother’s Day, and I’ll keep you updated on my attempts at improving my culinary skill (if I dare call it that!).
