I Don’t Even Want to Talk About It
So I’ll just post this picture of me, THIS MORNING, in the middle of the street putting gas from our lawn mower gas container – that I had to walk back home and get after having the car die on me - into the gas tank of my husband’s truck because he LEFT TOWN with his truck BELOW EMPTY and failed to mention this piece of information to anyone.
In more pleasant news, on Tuesday I went to a Girls Night Out dinner at the Melting Pot here in Maryland with some of my favorite blogging moms. It was an awesome night with delicious food and wine and fantastic company. Some of the highlights for me were: listening to WhyMommy‘s thoughts on Obama’s space policy plans; finding out that Mommy Needs a Cocktail and I almost played against each other in high school volleyball; talking to Urban Mama about erotica (don’t ask); meeting the famous Amalah; catching up with KC, whom I’ve haven’t seen in ages; commiserating with Rock and Roll Mama about our germophobe husbands; and laughing (always laughing) alongside TeachMama. Thanks to Lauren and her team for rolling out the red carpet for us and to JESSICAPISS (shout out to Devra! LOL) for making it all happen.
For GORGEOUS photos of the event, far better than I could ever dream of taking, check out the lovely Lolli at Better in Bulk!

Oh no! Not the empty gas tank. That is a major nightmare of mine. On the other hand, it was great fun to see you on Tuesday, and can’t wait to party again tonight!
