Moving On Up (Well, Not Quite)

Justice Ny summed up last night’s trainwreck episode of Real Housewives of NYC beautifully, so no need for me to give you my take. But let me remind you of this moment, just one more time for fun’s sake:

Kelly: “You are making lemonade out of lemons.”

Bethenny: “No, that’s not what you mean. Making lemonade out of lemons means turning a bad situation into something good.”

Kelly: “Not necessarily. It means making something bigger out of something small!”

*Crickets*

Me: ROTFLMAO

She’s the ultimate basketcase!

But I must confess to you all that I have moved on. As much as I love watching the dysfuction of my Housewife friends, I have found a completely new indulgence: Basketball Wives.

Oh. My. Gawd. It is so good.

And by good I mean, you know, bad.

If you haven’t seen an episode yet, you need to run quick, fast and in a hurry to VH1.com to catch up on the episodes online.  There’s romance. Adultery. Athletes. Fashion. Gossip. Celebs. Trash talking. Golddigging. Heartbreak. Groupies. Fly shoes and bags. Booty shaking. Miami scenery. Oh and the occasional b*tch slap.

Viva Reality TV.

  2. Basketball Wives is delightfully trashy. But that one chick (picture far left) gets on my last nerve!!! She is just super fake. Meh. It all makes for good tv though.

  3. Reality TV is one thing. But why would people expose their private lives to the world like these women do. Insecurity? Voyeurism? Stupidity?

  4. I’m not a big fan of reality tv shows but I watch them because most of the people on it makes me laugh of their stupidity and all. It also makes me feel bad for them because their stupidity is exposed to everyone else.

  5. It’s the women in my family who watch reality shows due to reasons that uncannily resembles Karen’s comment above.
