Wanted: Household Manager

Here is this week’s to do list for the house that I will somehow attempt to complete amidst an enormous document review for my case at work, planning for Blogalicious and all of the assorted other things that must get done.  Who has time for a job?

  • Submit membership application for the neighborhood pool for the summer (deadline is next week!!)
  • Submit boarding passes to get frequent flier credit for our past 2 family trips before it’s too late (it’s been almost 60 days!!)
  • Submit Little Gym Summer Fantasy Camp vaccination forms
  • Make hair appointment for the girls for this weekend (they look crazy)
  • Schedule classroom visit for Chatterbox’s 1st grade teacher (FIRST.GRADE.)
  • Help my mom find a flight for July when she’ll be coming to babysit when Hubby and I attend a wedding in Los Angeles
  • Buy rosewater and/or Benadryl cream for Chatterbox’s skin allergies (She’s terribly itchy, poor thing)
  • Order picture frame set for dining room
  • Buy Chatterbox a cherry tomato plant (now that we’ve had the seeds for over a month and never planted them; it’s officially too late now)
  • Do groceries (I never made it on Sunday b/c we were surprised with a birthday dinner for Justice Ny. We don’t even have milk or juice at this point)
  • Check status of bedroom furniture delivery
  • Troubleshoot the Wii. (Remote is not reading. It’s causing an uproar.)
  • Submit passport application for L’il Buddy so it’s ready in time for our Montreal trip later this summer
  • Return phone calls, respond to Evites and emails from a jillion people that I adore

  1. Yes, it is officially time to hire a personal assistant for a day or two. I recommend u check out craigslist and see what you can find in the childcare section. Most nannies don’t mind running personal errands and come with great references so you don’t have to wonder about having some physco watching ur child at the hair dresser’s while you get work done.

  2. Oh my! That is A LOT! It’s like you need work to get all your personal stuff done, so who the heck do they think they are asking you do to work related stuff;) I am serious, that’s how I felt at work. Almost annoyed when something came across my desk. IT’s a shame:(

Sidebar: Love the idea of Giggles and Repeat getting together. He seems to be doing a lot better (told me to go away when I picked him up) but a friend is always in need:)

  3. If you can make it on Saturday, LMK so I can bring you a cherry tomato plant. Seriously. We have them popping up all over our garden and there are way too many of them!
