Thank You to the Amazing DC Metro Moms!

For the past several years, I’ve been a part of a fantastic blogging community: the Silicon Valley Moms Group, which is a collective of sites is made up of local group blogs in several major cities.  Being a blogger on the DC Metro Moms group of SVMoms has been one of my most enjoyable blogging experiences so far.  These gals are brillant, funny, opinionated, caring, talented, and most of all…great people! I’ve enjoyed the online interaction just as much as the amazingly fun IRL outings that we’ve had together.  Which made last week’s sudden announcement that SVMoms was closing its doors effective immediately, such a shock.

True to form, the DC Metro Moms rallied right away and committed to remaining connected.  For that, I am thankful!  There are too many women to list individually, but TeachMama, TechSavvyMama, Parentopia Devra, Thien-Kim, Jessica, Sandie, Susan, Jean, Joanne, Smiling Mama, Amie, Jill, Jodifur, Resourceful Mommy, Nicole, and Sarah and just some of the ones that I call friends. And I look forward to many more years of laughs and support from these blogging mavens.

So I’m closing out this week of the #PGThankYouMom project by sending a big THANK YOU to my fellow DC Metro Moms. I consider myself lucky to have landed among you all.

This is a sponsored post.  It’s been a pleasure working with P&G and The Motherhood on this campaign. What an awesome excuse to thank some amazing mom bloggers that have made an impact on me! To pay the love forward, visit the Thank You Mom contest for your chance to win $1,000 or vote for others to win.

  4. It’s been amazing to get to know you and all the other DC Metro Moms in the last few years. You were one of the very first I met. (Remember the College Park Aviation Museum waaaaay back when?) I’m glad to know that our community can keep going, even without DCMM.
