So Much for the Lazy Days of Summer
The last few weeks (months?) have been crazy! We’ve been uber-busy and traveling all around. Since our family vacation to Myrtle Beach, Hubby and I traveled to Los Angeles for a wedding; I hosted a Summer Ladies’ Luncheon at my house; we celebrated Chatterbox’s 6th Birthday; the other Mamas and I went to BlogHer ’10 in NYC; and my family just returned last night from a week-long trip to Montreal. We’ve got about 2 days to regroup and then it’s time for school! Ack! Chatterbox is starting at a new school next week and her Open House is on Friday. So I’m knee-deep in school supply lists, schoolbus routes, cafeteria lunch pre-payment forms and school clothes shopping.

I so know the feeling! We were gone the whole month of June, July flew by with visitors and so on, and August was Blogher and a ton of other crazy things. I’m actually enjoying my last few days of the quiet part of summer. The minute Sept. gets here you know that it will be crazy all over again.

You guys have had a very busy and fun sounding last few days of summer! My last few days are summer are pretty much looking like the same since Moo isn’t old enough for school. We have a few years before we’ll reach that milestone.
