The Craziest Show On Earth

You know when you do a strenuous workout and wake up sore and immobilized the next day (ha! neither do I, lol)? But no, seriously – that’s how I felt this morning when my alarm went off. I literally groaned. This first week of school has me totally beat. Between the new morning wake up schedule (we lost an HOUR of precious sleep time), the rush to the bus, my commute to work and full day, then the commute home and THREE evening school events, getting and eating take-out dinner at 9pm on three nights, homework, and late bedtimes, it’s been a 3-ring circus with Mama as the ringleader.
Stick a fork in me – I’m DONE!

My parents had this GREAT rule growing up because they realized they were wearing themselves too thin: each sibling was limited to 2 extracurriculars (1 music and 1 sport). So many of my friends were in soccer, played flute, danced, etc etc. My parents said that since they were both working it was impossible and honestly, I think that’s COMPLETELY fair. you can’t be in two places at one time!
