Destination Maternity: A Veritable Haven for Expecting Moms
Last month I hit the mall with a friend to help her shop for maternity clothes. She is having her first baby and was overwhelmed at the thought of having to select pregnancy attire. Special undies for pregnant women? Belly bands? Maternity bras fit for nursing? She was entering into new territory and asked me to be her trusty guide. L’il Buddy and I went along to offer our invaluable assistance. Once we arrived at the maternity store though, I realized just how much times have changed in the 3 years since I was in the maternity game.
The place looked like Disney World for pregnant families!
Exhibit A: Complimentary Juice, Water and Mommy & Me Lesson Info While You Shop. There was also a Fitness Room Inside the Store Where They Hold Classes.
Exhibit B: Chic Dressing Rooms Sporting Trendy Ensembles. The Store Was Also Divided Into Areas Based on the “Collection.”
Exhibit C: A Bright, Padded, Contained Kids Play Area to Keep Little Ones Entertained While You Shop.
And Exhibit D:
The Piece de Resistance. A Waiting Area for Dads Equipped with Manly Magazines, La-Z-Boys and a Flat Screen TV!
I know.
Between this and the maternity line at LOFT, I totally got gypped!

Hmmm..I wonder if our Destination Maternity is decked out like that. I’m just starting to outgrow my pants and will be stopping by to see what goodies they have.

Nearly all of the things you state happens to be astonishingly precise and that makes me wonder why I had not looked at this with this light before. This particular article really did turn the light on for me personally as far as this issue goes. But at this time there is one factor I am not too comfortable with and while I try to reconcile that with the core idea of your point, allow me see what all the rest of the subscribers have to point out.Nicely done.
